Sample ELA Resources
Beginning in grade 6, students read and analyze genres including poetry, novels, plays, biographies, nonfiction narratives, speeches, and films. They also learn to write in wide variety of forms, including essays, personal narratives, argumentative texts, and research papers.
Supplementing that core ELA curriculum, workshops in Language, Close Reading, and Writing offer additional opportunities to focus on specific skills.
